Mecalux will present its most advanced warehousing solutions at Robotics and Automation 2025

Mecalux will present its warehouse automation and digitalisation solutions at Robotics and Automation 2025, the leading logistics industry event in Birmingham (UK). On 25 and 26 March, the multinational will showcase its autonomous mobile robot (AMR) series and the latest updates to its Easy WMS warehouse management system.

Automation for goods flow

Visitors to Stand 730 will discover Mecalux’s latest advancements in AMRs, designed to automate and optimise product movement in warehouses, logistics centres and manufacturing plants.

Mecalux offers a range of autonomous mobile robots to meet every operational need: the AMR 100, equipped with a conveyor for handling boxes, trays and packages; the AMR 600, capable of transporting shelving units to pick stations; and the AMR 1500, designed to move loads weighing up to 1,500 kg.

New Easy WMS capabilities

At Robotics and Automation 2025, Mecalux will also unveil the latest enhancements to its Easy WMS warehouse management system, including the incorporation of generative artificial intelligence. This new functionality enables the system to respond to requests conversationally, simulating human interaction.

Users will be able to communicate with Easy WMS via a chat interface that processes and answers complex queries, streamlining decision-making and improving operational efficiency in the warehouse. For example, they can inquire about information such as urgent orders pending fulfilment or current inventory levels of a specific product.

Conference on automation and digitalisation

As part of the event programme, Mecalux will host the talk “Turning challenges into opportunities: The future of logistics automation” on Wednesday, 26 March, from 10:00 to 10:25 a.m. at the Robotics & Automation Theatre. The session will explore how automation enhances logistics efficiency, reduces costs and maximises supply chain performance through advanced technologies and intelligent systems.

See you at Robotics and Automation 2025!
